ARTERIJA is open!

On January 28th, on V. Kuzmos street between Muitinės g. 2 and Muitinės g. 4 buildings of Vilnius Academy of Arts Kaunas Faculty, the first exhibit of the ARTERIJA project under the title A BLINK was unveiled. A numerous crowd of visitors were not scared away by the freezing cold of a windy Friday evening and flocked to V. Kuzmos street which is an iconic location for artistic expression in Kaunas. The art space and the exhibit A BLINK were unveiled by the Dean of Vilnius Academy of Arts Kaunas Faculty prof. Jonas Audėjaitis and the exhibit curator, co-author assoc. prof. Rimantas Giedraitis.
The thoughts and insights about the new exhibition were shared by philosopher Viktoras Bachmetjevas, the exhibit was presented by the author Saulius Paliukas himself and the co-author, photographer Romualas Požerskis, who shared his memories of capturing the V. Kuzmos street in 1975, the image which serves as an inspiration for the first exhibit. We invite you not to be a passerby but rather to peer into the first open-air exhibit. It is best advised to visit, listen, and appreciate its light effects every day from 6 PM (even though it is open 24/7). The exhibition will be open for a whole year.
